THE ROLE OF KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE AND VILLAGE APPARATUS REGULATION ON PREVENTIVE BEHAVIOR OF COVID-19 IN GUNUNGKIDUL

Pandemics have occurred several times with international coverage, but are currently being felt by all countries, not only hitting
the health sector but all sectors from the economy, education and other sectors. Reviewing several regional quarantine
references in several countries, the approach to handling Covid-19 in Indonesia is to carry out regional quarantine. Indonesia
experienced an extension of the pandemic due to the absence of a strict regional quarantine. This raises the possibility of
individual transmission, especially from the Red Zone (red zone) to the Green Zone (green zone). Gradually, all of Indonesia
will become a Red Zone. Copule with the disobedience of some people who stay out infected with Covid-19. Even healthy
individuals can transmit or be infected by other individuals. Efforts to stop the spread of Covid-19 require understanding,
knowledge and good attitudes from all elements, including the community. In addition, there are strict regulations from the
village area. This study aims to find the effect of knowledge, attitudes and regulations of village officials on the behavior of
preventing COVID-19 in Gunungkidul. The subject of this research is the head of the family with various backgrounds. The
sample population is 93 people, the sample technique is total sampling. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional
design and bivariate analysis (kendall tau). The results showed that there was a significant effect between knowledge on Covid-
19 prevention behavior (0.001 < 0.05), there was a significant influence between attitudes towards Covid-19 prevention
behavior (0.000 < 0.05) and there was a significant influence between village apparatus regulations on preventive behavior.
