FOCUS AND SCOPE

Journal of Permata Indonesia (JPI) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that focuses on the dissemination of research and critical studies in the field of health sciences, specifically in the following areas:

Fields and Subfields Covered

• Pharmacy: drug formulation and development, clinical pharmacy, pharmacology, toxicology, community pharmacy, pharmaceutical care.
• Midwifery: antenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, neonatal care, community-based midwifery, maternal and child health.
• Public Health: epidemiology, health promotion, health education, health systems and policies, health management, disease prevention.
• Health Information and Medical Records: health information systems, data security and privacy, patient data management, interoperability, e-health, digital health technologies.

Types of Manuscripts Accepted

• Original research articles (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods).
• Systematic reviews or meta-analyses.
• Case reports or innovative practice descriptions.
• Methodological papers or instrument validation studies.
• Scientific commentaries or policy briefs related to health issues.

Methodological Approaches

JPI welcomes a variety of research methodologies, including but not limited to: quantitative analysis, qualitative studies, mixed-methods approaches, experimental or non-experimental designs, surveys, longitudinal studies, computational models, big data analysis, and machine learning applications in health.

Editorial Scope Limitations

• Lack scientific analysis or methodological rigor.
• Are purely descriptive program reports without evaluation.
• Are popular or non-academic in nature.
• Fall outside the health sciences domain without clear relevance.
