THE CORRELATION BETWEEN SOCIAL SUPPORT AND MOTIVATION TO CURE DRUG ABUSERS AT REHABILITATION CENTERS INDOCHARIS FOUNDATION SLEMAN

Sleman is first rank wheel of Drugs case in Special Region of Yogyakarta. The predisposing factor is the
desire to recover from the self-generated drugs. Rehabilitation center becomes one of the facilities
included in the enabling factor. Both of these factors will not run optimally if there is no reinforcing
factorthat is social support. The purpose of this study is to see the correlate between social support and
motivation to recover drug abusers in Rehabilitation Center Indocharis Foundation Sleman.This type
of reseacrh was obeservational analytics with cross sectional method. Data collection used primary
data wais questionnaire. The sample of research was 53 people. Data analysis used was univariate and
bivariate analysis. Confident Interval (CI) from family support of 0,338-1,943, friend support of 0,693-
3,332 and health care support 0,2323-1,324. Values of 0,865, 0,265 and 0,336. This means that the
alternative hypothesis was rejected. Family support and friend support were not risk factors (RP =
0,810 and 0,543). Drug Abusers with low health care support 1,519 times had low motivation compared
to high drug users with high care service (RP 1,519). The conclusion are there was no statistically
significant correlated between family support, friend support and helath care support for motivation to
recovered drug abusers in Rehabilitation Center Indocharis Foundation Sleman.
