The decline in the quality of life of the elderly is often related to various health problems. Problems such as chronic illnesses, mental disorders, and decline in physical function become more common with age. This can result in decreased mobility, dependence on others, and social isolation. Community service programs at posbindu for the elderly, such as counseling about chronic diseases, preventing mental disorders and decreased physical function, as well as regular health checks, aim to improve the quality of life of the elderly. This activity was carried out at Posbindu Dusun Pikgondang, Condong Catur, Depok, Sleman. The targets of health promotion activities are the elderly and cadres, especially those responsible for the elderly posbindu program. The role of posbindu cadres is important in helping improve the quality of life of the elderly because they are the backbone in conveying information, providing care and the necessary support to the elderly and their communities.
